Washington Woodshop and Construction Teachers Home Page This site contains resources that are available for Washington teachers to stay contacted and coordinated with each other. Electrical Safety: Safety and Health for Electrical Trades Student Manual This student manual is part of a safety and health curriculum for secondary and post-secondary electrical trades courses. The manual is designed to engage the learner in recognizing, evaluating, and controlling hazards associated with electrical work. It was developed through extensive research with vocational instructors. NIOSH - Electronic Library of Construction Occupational Safety and Health This site is a database of resources on the environmental hazards encountered in construction work. It includes recommendations for reducing hazardous conditions, NIOSH and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) data on hazards and the problems they can cause, and summaries of published research.
